Jeremy Crotty was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1974. He and his family moved to Bayfield, Colorado in 1978, where he grew up with all the the freedom the 1980s and a small mountain town provided. His parents worked beyond hard to provide him with everything a child needs, but not so much to stifle imagination.
Jeremy attended Mesa State College in Grand Junction, CO and received a BA in psychology. He is a self taught artist who works in a variety of art forms. He uses various mechanical and woodworking techniques to produce his one of a kind works. He considers the steel cable to be his muse, often posing them to reflect the human condition. Jeremy strongly believes it is the artist's duty to not only show what they can do, but just as importantly, what they believe.
He currently resides near Bayfield, Colorado with his wife, daughter and twin boys.
Profits from Jeremy’s art sales are 100% donated toward childhood cancer research.
